As I go through one of the busiest weeks of my college career, I can’t help but contemplate a quote from my college pastor, Austin Duncan:
Complaining is idolatry.
It is a direct assault on the sovereignty of God.
As tempted as I am to complain, and as much as I don’t understand what the possible purpose of having such a busy week could be, I choose–by the enabling grace of God–not to complain.
(I suspect this quote can be found in his sermon “Enoch the Preacher.”)
